Russell J. Sindt is engaged in the general practice of civil law with an emphasis on Corporate and Business, Estate Planning and Administration; Real Estate and Zoning, and Litigation (Trials and Appeals).

Mr. Sindt is licensed to practice law in Colorado and Nebraska. He received both his Undergraduate and Law Degrees from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, Nebraska. Mr. Sindt has been in private practice since 1975 in Lakewood, Colorado, and before that was Deputy City Attorney in Lakewood, Colorado. In addition to an active law practice, Mr. Sindt has a commitment to civic responsibility and has served unselfishly in many community service activities.

Experience:

Private legal practice in Lakewood, Colorado since 1975 (emphasis on corporation and business counseling, civil litigation, real estate transactions, zoning and land use, probate and estate planning). Additionally, served as Contract City Attorney for the City of Golden from 1977 - 1988, and also served as the Contract City Attorney for the City of Lakewood during 1978.

Deputy City Attorney, City of Lakewood, Colorado 1972-1975 (including 1½ years as Chief Deputy in charge of the Civil Section of this office) with extensive experience in Civil Litigation, and all other aspects of Municipal Law, including land use regulation and zoning, public works construction contracts, real estate negotiations and closings, condemnation actions, and prosecution in Municipal Court.

Staff Attorney for the Natural Resources Commission, State Capitol, Lincoln, Nebraska 1971, (assisted in preparation of the Legal Appendix to the Nebraska State Water Plan).
